Completing a loan application doesn’t have to be a stressful experience. Although regulations require us to ask for specific information, we designed our online application to be as simple and convenient as possible. In the following sections, we’ve listed a few items to have handy that can help speed up the application process.

Information you’ll need to apply for a loan

Property information

Be sure to have the property address, purchase price (or home value for refinancing), loan amount, and the type of property. If you don’t have a specific address yet, just the city and state will work for now.

Income sources

You’ll need your current and past employment history, two years worth of bank statements, and proof of income from sources that aren’t your employer such as social security, pensions, alimony, investments, or government assistance.

Assets and liabilities

Don’t forget to include your other accounts, real estate and vehicles owned, life insurance policies, and any other loans in your name.

After submitting your application, you’ll be asked to provide the additional documents below. However, you can save time and keep the process moving forward by securely uploading these documents along with your application!

Additional documents required

  • Your past two years of W-2s.
  • Your past two years of tax returns (all schedules).
  • Your past two months of bank statements (all pages).
  • Your past 30 days of pay stubs.
  • A copy of your driver’s license.
  • Your business tax returns (if self-employed).
  • Your purchase contract.
  • Your realtor’s phone numbers (if applicable).
  • Your insurance agent’s name and phone.
